Full-time/Part-time Programme Officer (at the rank of Technical Officer) in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research (Ref: 526093) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a recognized Bachelor’s degree or above with administrative experience in event management and/or research.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal organization and communication skills; good technical computer skills and proficiency in PC and MS Office. They should also be attentive to details, flexible, committed and able to work independently on multiple tasks with self-initiative.

The appointee will provide clerical, administrative and logistics support to organizing symposia and other types of events, processing and keeping good records of invoices/reimbursement claims, regular website updating, compiling various reports based on consolidation of research publications, general office administration support and performing any other duties as assigned. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
