IT Officer in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref: 526100), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basis salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ solid experience in office IT setup, maintenance and support, including but not limited to network connection, software and applications.  Applicants should familiar with Windows and Mac OS and MS applications, cloud server experience will be an advantage.  He/She should also familiar with website management with basic knowledge in multimedia content production.  They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, good interpersonal skills, self-motivation and strong sense of responsibility. Working experience in a large sized company or education institute will be an advantage.

The appointee will assist IT Manager to maintain the web-based IT system of the Community Pharmacy Project including periodic maintenance.  He/She is required to perform regular IT policy and procedure review and maintenance, and assist members of the department to setup, install and maintain various software and applications on office PCs.  He/She should also need to edit, upload and maintain multimedia content on the project website. Working outside office hours may be required occasionally.
