Executive Officer, Corporate Services & Communications in the Clinical Trials Centre (Ref.: 526126)

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under the University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) and is dedicated to managing and facilitating international-standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices and medical technologies.  HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who pursue career advancement and success.  We are seeking a high calibre candidate to join our Administration and Corporate Communications Unit.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and implementation of corporate communications and branding strategies;
• Prepare materials for marketing and public disclosure (including annual reports, staff newsletters and articles for social media and website);
• Assist in planning, organizing and coordinating various internal and external events;
• Provide secretarial support to senior management and assist with internal/external meetings;
• Supervise junior staff to handle general office administration and facility management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate administration and corporate communications, preferably in the medical and/or research sectors;
• Experience in content creation and social media management are definite advantages;
• Good coordination, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills;
• Detail-minded, able to handle multiple concurrent tasks, and self-motivated;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is a must;
• Proficiency in multimedia, graphic design and video-editing tools is an added advantage.

The appointment will be made on a two-year fixed-term full-time contract, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.  Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
