Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant)/Clerical Assistant in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.: 526159) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, plus at least 4 years’ relevant work experience.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  Fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage.  Proficiency in common computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing is required.  Applicants should also have good interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently; and be mature and self-motivated.  Those with less qualifications and experience will be considered as Clerical Assistant.

The appointees will provide general clerical support to the School including filing, data entry, record-keeping, handling enquiries, facility maintenance and promotional events, and perform any other duties as assigned. Flexibility to work outside office hours is required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointments on two-year fixed terms will come with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
