Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 526187) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in biological/medical sciences or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ proven experience in pharmaceutical science laboratories. They should have an excellent commend of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), good problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team, self-motivated and hardworking. Experience in chemical analysis, cell culture and/or animal handling would be an advantage.
The appointee will assist in managing the laboratory and the Department’s financial matters. He/She will also provide technical support to teaching and learning activities such as practical sessions and perform other duties as assigned.
