Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 526230) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, preferably with relevant clinical practice, research and/or community engagement in Parkinson’s disease, as well as knowledge of holistic wellness and/or mind-body interventions such as mindfulness and expressive art therapy.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, along with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.  They should also be a good team player; attentive to details; responsible; and able to work independently.

The appointee will work on projects related to neurodegenerative diseases under the supervision of Prof. Jojo Kwok.  He/She will be responsible for giving health promotion talks, conducting assessments and evaluations, developing training manuals and self-help materials, conducting training programs, liaising with different parties, and performing other research-related duties as required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
