Applications are invited for appointment as Associate Professor (Research)(several posts) in the State Key Laboratory of Brain and Cognitive Sciences (SKL), the Department of Psychology (Ref: 526288) to commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis or a three-year fixed-term basis, renewable subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree with a specialisation in Psychology, Neuropsychology, Human Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Brain-inspired Artificial Intelligence, Neuroengineering, Computational Psychiatry, Biomedical Engineering or related fields, and with the potential for sustained outstanding/exceptional research achievements. The appointee should demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing and enhancing the knowledge base and stimulating research enquiries at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They are also expected to contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of the basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
