Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 526375), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, preferably with clinical working experience.  They should be able to work independently and in a team.  They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese) as well as good communication skills.  Knowledge and experience of offering primary health care services or interventions in the clinical area or community will be an advantage. 

The appointee will assist in planning primary health care services or interventions, monitoring research progress, liaising with NGOs, reviewing and finalizing all assessment instruments and publicity items. He/She will also assist in preparing evidence-based protocols, organizing the training and manuals for NGO staff, preparing the operation and intervention manuals; and performing any other duties as assigned.  Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
