Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the Centre of Buddhist Studies (Ref.: 526392) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferably with 2-3 years administrative experience in public or non-profit making organisations. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; good IT proficiency; and the ability to handle multi-tasks.  They should also be attentive to details, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Those with less experience and/or lower qualification may be appointed as Clerk II.

The appointee will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and programme matters of the Centre; assist in fund raising matters; website management, event management and any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
