Research Assistant I/II in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 526406) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

 

We now invite applications for the captioned post. The appointee will provide opportunities to work with researchers on project(s) related to policy evaluation of community-based mental health projects.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature review, data collection and analysis, preparation of presentations, and reports
  • Assist in the logistics arrangement of the project(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in social sciences, public policy and administration, psychology, statistics, or related disciplines
  • The ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated, and able to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Knowledge of social impact/cost-effectiveness analysis would be an advantage

The appointment will be a one-year contract with a highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
