Clerk II in the Madam S.H. Ho Residence for Medical Students and Patrick Manson Student Residence, LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 526431) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized degree/diploma; OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English and Chinese; OR minimum Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 3 years’ relevant clerical experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong MS Excel, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; demonstrated competence in performing clerical duties; and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. They should be attentive to details and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Experience in student residence and/or hall engagement would be preferred. Degree holders will be offered the functional title of Project Officer.  

The appointee will carry out a wide range of clerical and administrative duties for both Madam S.H. Ho Residence for Medical Students and Patrick Manson Student Residence under the management of the LKS Faculty of Medicine. He/She will handle the student residences’ daily operation and admission, answer enquiries (in-person, telephone and emails), supervise front-line staff, manage facilities and databases, handle financial matters, assist in organising events, and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
