Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Academic Liaison Office of the Registry (Ref: 526552) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

We are looking for a clerk to join the Academic Liaison Office to provide administrative and clerical support to the Office.

The Role

The appointee will be responsible for a range of clerical duties including data entry, maintaining inventory records, bookkeeping, providing general administrative support to the Office, and performing any other duties as assigned by the Office Head.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, preferably with one year’s relevant work experience;
  • A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • IT proficiency (MS Word and Excel);
  • Ability to work independently, with good organisational and communication skills, and be self-motivated and attentive to details;
  • Those with less experience/ lower qualifications may be considered as Clerical Assistant.
