IT Officer/IT Technician in the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (Ref.: 526603) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The Role

  • Assisting with various IT tasks to support daily operations
  • Providing frontline support to internal users
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting computer equipment
  • Assisting with product evaluation, project preparation and execution

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 1 year's of work experience in IT-related field
  • Hands-on experience in service desk system and support
  • Knowledge in PC support and MS Office support
  • Knowledge in databases support and infrastructure monitoring
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and enjoy teamwork
  • Willing to meet new challenges
  • Fresh graduate without work experience may also be considered
