Clerical Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 527019) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have completed Form 5, preferably 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 3 years' relevant work experience and proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing. They should have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (preferably with proficiency in Putonghua); good communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently and be a good team player.
The appointee will handle enquiries, provide general clerical and administrative support to the office including document delivery and office documentation, and perform other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
