Full-time Psychology Assistants (at the rank of Senior Student Affairs Assistant) (multiple posts) in the Counselling and Person Enrichment Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 527028) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary).

Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree, major in Psychology. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Proficiency in using Microsoft applications and online conferencing and collaboration platforms (e.g. Zoom/ Microsoft Teams) is a must. Experience in managing social media, using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva and related work experiences will be an advantage. Fresh graduates will also be considered.

They must demonstrate a strong passion to work with young people, possess excellent ethical compliance, interpersonal maturity, effective communication skills, and good teamwork. Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment and strong sensitivity in handling confidential information are required. 

The appointees will work closely with our professional team and student advising personnel to promote mental health awareness and psychological wellbeing to students at the University. The appointees will conduct literature search, handle confidential survey data, consolidate service statistics and reports, manage online psychological platforms, research tasks, support enrichment activities, as well as co-design, and edit relevant psychological self-help and training materials. They will provide administrative support to counselling and psychological services and assist the professional and programme team in mental health or wellness activities/projects/events. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
