Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant I (holding the functional title of Project Manager) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 527117) (to commence on 1 September 2024 until 31 August 2025, with the possibility of renewal)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • work for a Quality Education Fund (QEF) project on enhancing multimodal assessment literacy of teachers in primary/secondary schools
  • handle the administrative work, including liaising with project schools and teachers, arranging school visits, organising cluster meetings and public seminars, monitoring the progress of the project
  • handle other logistical aspects of project implementation such as clearing copyright issues, collecting data to evaluate the effectiveness of the project
  • help with report writing
  • perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • a Master’s degree with at least 1 year’s post-qualifications work experience / a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ post-qualifications experience, preferably in education or related disciplines
  • a strong sense of responsibility
  • good organisational skills
  • an excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • attentive to details
  • ability to work independently
  • experience in project coordination / working with schools / organising professional development workshops and seminars is preferred, but not essential
  • good computer skills in editing videos, audios, images, eBooks, or infographics

 

What We Offer

The appointment will commence on 1 September 2024 on a temporary basis until August 31, 2025, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
