Photographer (at the rank of IT Technician) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 527168) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Diploma in Multimedia, Photography, Creative Media or equivalent, with at least 3 years’ of work experience as a photographer or videographer in a production house and an agency environment.  They should be friendly and self-motivated with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, a strong sense of responsibility, great interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask, deliver satisfactory results within a tight timeframe, and work well both independently and in a team.  Besides, applicants must have a good understanding on the full spectrum of multimedia production (from Pre-production, Production to Post-Production); solid knowledge in lighting and operating different cameras; and skills in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Subtitle editing, After Effects and Illustrator.  Applicants with lower academic qualifications and less work experience will be considered for the position of IT Assistant. 

The appointee is expected to produce professional portraits, event photography, videos and other multimedia productions from a loose guideline.  He/She will also perform other duties as assigned.  The appointee will be assigned to work at HKU Main campus, the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, Central campus or Admiralty Town Centre campus, and may be required to work in the evenings, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.  Client management experience is essential for the position of IT Technician.
