UX/UI Designer/Multimedia Designer (at the rank of IT Officer) in the Department of Computer Science (Ref: 528655) (to commence as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a Degree/Higher Diploma or above in Multimedia Graphic Design or related discipline, with at least 5 years’ proven work experience in IT infrastructure design or animation graphic designer in an in-house or agency environment. They should have demonstrated skills in the use of typography, color schemes, layout and other design elements to create a balanced composition in any medium (website, poster, social media, etc.). Strong expertise in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & In-Design) is required. Those with experience in character design, photo retouching, multimedia applications, advanced motion graphics and video editing would be highly preferred. Knowledge of Wordpress, HTML5, CSS3 and web/app UI frameworks will be an advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for the design and development of multimedia content, animations, videos and other training materials.
