Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 528750), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in psychology, psychiatry, or other related disciplines. They should have demonstrated expertise in sleep related research; excellent written and spoken communication skills; and the ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.  Preference will be given to those with experiences in using one or more of the following methods: circadian measures, polysomnography, EEG, and actigraphy. Candidates with a background of sleep medicine/behavioural sleep medicine training are especially encouraged to apply. The candidate should have demonstrated scientific expertise and excellent writing skills by publications in referred journals. Experiences of conducting clinical research studies (e.g., randomized controlled trials), knowledge and experience with advanced statistical techniques, database management, and computational modelling would be an advantage.

The appointee will participate in laboratory administration, project management and implementation, data management, analysis, and manuscript/grant preparation. Publication opportunities and collaborative research opportunities are available. They will also have opportunities to provide mentorship, collaborate with doctoral students, and supervise junior research students/staff’s research projects.
