Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (ref.:528936) (to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Social Policies, Social Work, Political Science, Service or Business Management or related disciplines. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility and proficiency in both written and spoken Cantonese and English. Those with knowledges and experience in organizational studies will be an advantage.
The appointee will work on research project related to capacity building of non-profit organizations in Hong Kong. He/she will be responsible for literature review, data collection, management and analysis, report writing, events and activities support, as well as other duties as assigned.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experiences will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will come with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary.
