IT Manager (holding the functional title of Manager (Multimedia)) in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref.: 529955). The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Creative Media or equivalent, with at least 4-5 years’ relevant experience, including supervisory experience. They should have at least 5 years’ experience in multimedia production, e-learning initiatives; e-learning portal management, website and social media management, events production, branding and publicity, preferably in the higher education sector; and proven working experience with content expert, instructional designers, vendors and stakeholders. They should have a thorough knowledge of multimedia production with diverse skill sets of using the full spectrum of Adobe Creative tools, web-based UI/UX frameworks, CMS, and LMS. An good command of English and Chinese, as well as a high level of communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. Experience in applying AI-assisted tools at various stages in multimedia production life cycle is an advantage.
Applicants with the following qualifications are preferred:
- Solid production experience of website development and maintenance using CMS platforms and web-based frameworks;
- Proficiency in social media platforms, SEO tools, branding, and automation solutions to streamline workflows;
- Proficiency in using UI design tools to create prototypes for web and mobile applications;
- Strong experience in producing and editing multimedia materials based on scripts, storyboards, or loose guidelines;
- Experience in e-learning content management platform and solutions, video streaming and lecture capture system;
- Experience in office’s IT management systems, VM, cloud services for software deployment and platforms would be an advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for planning and overseeing all stages of multimedia and e-learning production, providing training workshops in relation to EdTech and AI, and perform other duties as assigned. The appointee is expected to handle innovative e-learning projects, multimedia creation and digital marketing, ensuring that project deliverables and publicity materials are compelling and effective; incorporate the latest technology trends to create interactive learning experience; improve student engagement and learning outcomes; implement and manage project schedules; supervise other colleagues to work as team.
