Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 530149) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ work experience, preferably in tertiary institution(s). They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; and an appropriate level of IT skills.  They should also be able to prioritise multiple tasks independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment; be a good team player with self-motivation and have a strong sense of responsibility. Those with work experience in tertiary institutions and knowledge of using Oracle Financials system would have an advantage. 

The appointee will provide support in financial and administrative matters, including managing e-Procurement, processing payments and reimbursements on iExpenses, issuing debit notes and receipts, assisting in managing the School facilities and organising the School's events, and perform any other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
