IT Assistant in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530257) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE or min. level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, preferably with at least 1 year of post qualification work experience in IT or a related discipline. They should have knowledge of MS Windows, MacOS, Office and Zoom applications; and experience in helpdesk and competency in troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and AV equipment.  They should be good team players, self-motivated, able to work under pressure; and have a strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills.

The appointee will provide audio visual and IT technical services for various academic programmes/events/workshops; assist in setting up teaching venues, troubleshooting and maintenance of computing and AV facilities; provide technical assistance to staff members; and perform any other duties as assigned. On-job training will be provided to successful appointee. He/She is required to work at Admiralty Town Centre or Main Campus. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends with shift duties is required.
