We are seeking a dedicated Senior Executive Assistant to join the Department of Geography.

The Role

The appointee will:

  • Handle financial matters including account administration, general accounting operation, and reporting.
  • Assist in human resources management and appointments.
  • Manage events and perform other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the Department Head.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A recognized Bachelor’s degree or Diploma.
  • At least 3 years’ work experience.
  • An excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ethics.
  • A good team player and able to multi-task independently.
  • Preferred: Work experience in tertiary institutions and knowledge of using Oracle Financials system.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on a fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, commencing as soon as possible thereafter, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
