Executive Officer in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530302) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to multitask, perform diversified duties, and work independently as well as under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should also be very attentive to details and a good team player.
The appointee will provide a high level of administrative and secretarial support to one or more domains of the Department, including research, student affairs and programme administration; and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview.
