Part-time Student Research Assistant in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 530353) (to commence as soon as possible for six months on temporary term, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should be current undergraduate students of The University of Hong Kong, preferably in HKUMed. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua), and good interpersonal and communication skills.
The appointee will assist in the research projects, which aims to optimize outcomes for breast cancer patients by improving the efficiency and satisfaction of oncology consultations using Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools.
The appointee will be responsible for collecting and organizing patient data, assisting with consultation assessments, and managing essential research-related tasks. He/she will be expected to work during daytime on weekdays for not more than 20 hours per week. He/she will gain excellent practical experience in the medical/public health field from this post.
