Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 530356) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months on temporary term, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in the fields of epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, mathematics, computer science, or related areas. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should have substantial experience in statistical analysis and proficiency in statistical and computer modeling software (e.g., R, Python). A general understanding of machines learning and AI applications is also necessary.
The appointees will assist in the implementation of various public health research projects and data management tasks. They will conduct data manipulation, prepare research summaries, draft reports and manuscripts, and provide technical support as assigned.
