Manager, Executive Education (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530375) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or a business-related discipline with around 5 years of work experience in the field of programme operation or client servicing with event management experience in a commercial and business setting.  They should be a good team player who have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); possesses strong customer service and project management skills, good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, great branding and marketing skills, a positive attitude and detail-oriented mindset; a high level of computer literacy; and prior experience in supervising or leading a team.  Ability to proofread and edit English and Chinese articles; build relationships at all levels in the private, public and Government sectors; work independently under pressure with an entrepreneurial spirit; and multi-task under tight deadlines are essential.  A good knowledge of Executive Education programmes in the Asian market and a sound network with the business sector would be a definite advantage. 

The appointee will support the Faculty’s development in the Executive Education portfolio, including programme management, operation and execution.  He/She will also maintain databases, handle enquiries, collate course materials, provide clerical and logistics support to course arrangements, liaise with external parties, arrange hospitality for visitors, coordinate student events, and perform any other duties as assigned.  He/She will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.  

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
