Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref. no.: 530383)
We are looking for Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) to join the General Office of the School of Public Health to provide administrative support to the academic divisions and the School in general.
The Role
The appointees will provide day-to-day support to office administration. They will handle matters related to finance (e.g. procurement, payment, reimbursement, tendering and invoicing), human resources (e.g. staff appointment, advising research teams on HR queries and maintaining internal filing and records), provide support to the daily operation of an academic division, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary education;
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and IT proficiency (e.g., MS Office and database);
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills;
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines;
- Competence in performing administrative duties and collaborating with different stakeholders; and
- Attentive to details, self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.
