Executive Officer/Clerk I (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant) in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530458) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 5 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English; a strong sense of responsibility; and excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be self-motivated, attentive to details, able to handle multiple tasks, and work independently and in a team to meet tight deadlines. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience will be considered for appointment as Clerk I.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the financial matters of the Department, such as handling procurement process and reimbursement claims, including order requisition, preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) and tender documents. He/She may assist in teaching and learning matters, including handling applications and course coordination, liaising with internal/external parties; and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
