Executive Officer in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530575) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years’ work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; and IT proficiency. Experience in financial management would be an advantage.
The appointee will provide administrative support to mental health projects. He/She will manage human resources and financial matters; provide secretarial support for meetings; maintain effective communication within the project team; coordinate project events including trainings, overseas tours, conferences and case assessment sessions; keep track of all project documents; assist in the development of protocols and guidelines; and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours may be required occasionally.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
