Applications are invited for appointment as Research Manager (at the rank of Assistant Research Officer in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.:530582), to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess (i) a Ph.D. degree in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience; (ii) proven capacity in research, with a good track record of high-quality publications in the field of Chinese Medicine; and (iii) experience in leading academic and managing projects of research studies. Applicants with experience in conducting basic research would have an advantage. Applicants should be self-motivated, meticulous, and be able to work in collaboration across teams.
The appointees will be responsible for molecular biology and animal research, data analysis, project co-ordination, and writing manuscripts, scientific publications, grant proposals and reports. He/She is expected to perform other duties as assigned.
