Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530645) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of the basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ solid work experience.  They should have a good command of written and spoken Chinese (including Putonghua) and English; a strong sense of responsibility; IT proficiency; and good organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.  They should also be self-motivated, attentive to details, and able to multitask and work independently as well as in a team.  

The appointee will perform a full range of administrative duties including secretarial support to the committees and the management; assisting with administrative and clerical tasks related to financial and human resources matters; providing clerical and logistical support for visitors; helping to organise and coordinate events and meetings; and other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or a written test.  

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
