Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530678) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with about 1 to 3 years of work experience, preferably at a tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; computer literacy; as well as the ability to multitask under pressure and work independently and in a team environment. They should also be detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in handling recruitment and good knowledge in data processing and analysis would be an advantage. Fresh graduates or those with less experience may be considered as Executive Assistant.
The appointee will perform a wide spectrum of administrative support in the Faculty Office. He/She will handle tasks related to committees and meetings, manage and organize business appointments, liaise with internal and external parties for daily administrative operations, facilitate office automation, handle all inquiries and correspondence independently, provide administrative support including sorting incoming correspondence and arranging internal and external meetings and functions when required, and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned. He/She must maintain the strictest confidentiality at all times. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
