Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) at the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (Ref.: 531561) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)  

Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above, with at least 1­-2 years’ full-time work experience in programme administration or a related field. They should be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), with good organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and a passion for working with students from all backgrounds and cultures. They should also be detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task, and work well both independently and in a team, as well as under pressure. Experience in taught postgraduate programme administration or relevant position will be an advantage. Those with more experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Executive Assistant.

The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the Institute’s taught postgraduate programme, and assist in programme operations as well as student administration, including but not limited to recruitment and student admissions, arranging interviews, processing applications and admissions offers, providing support for classes and activities organisation, and handling financial claims and general office enquires. He/She will also perform other duties as assigned. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
