Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 531577) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with experience in counselling. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and good interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate research projects independently. Experience in coordinating research/ extracurricular projects would be an advantage. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating ongoing research projects on addictive behaviours. He/She will assist in subject recruitment, data collection, conducting fieldwork and telephone follow-up; and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.
