Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Technology Transfer Office (Ref: 531582) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years of solid work experience in event management, preferably in sizeable technology-related exhibitions, conferences, B2B events. They should have strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities as well as excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin); detail-minded with the ability to meet deadlines; good multi-tasking skills and able to work on different projects simultaneously; experience in dealing with senior management, professors or scholars will be advantageous. 

The appointee will support the planning and execution of various events e.g. exhibitions, conferences, seminars, showcases, MoU signing, etc.; source and liaise with event vendors and other stakeholders (e.g. exhibition teams) to ensure the production is well delivered; coordinate with internal departments (e.g. venues, corporate communication) for event-related logistics and marketing; be the main contact point to handle event-related enquiries; and perform additional tasks assigned by supervisor and management. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
