Programme Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Admissions Office of the Registry (Ref.: 531593) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal) 

 

Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' work experience, preferably in the education sector or in public relations-related fields, such as schools, NGOs, etc.  They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, the ability to work independently with initiative, good organisational and communication skills, an outgoing personality, and a genuine interest in helping high school students in their career planning.

 

The appointee will be responsible for the planning and designing of the talented programmes for high school students in Hong Kong and overseas.  He/She will be responsible for the implementation and administration of student programmes and admissions events.  He/She will also be involved in the recruitment of students by devising specific outreach initiatives and liaising with key stakeholders to provide taster programmes for high school students.  The appointee is also required to liaise with other departments of the University and external organisations, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of the Office.  He/She may be required to work outside office hours and on weekends.  

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
