Full time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531609) (to commence as soon as possible for 6 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or post secondary qualification, preferably with work experience. They should be fluent in Cantonese and have a good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. Good interpersonal social and communication skills is a must. They should be responsible, organised, attentive to details, able to work independently and in a team, willing to learn new skills, and multi-task. Experience in data analysis is preferred but not mandatory. Those with less experience may be considered as Research Assistant II. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

The appointees will assist in patient recruitment for multi-centre studies on bone and joint disorders. Their duties include working with healthcare professionals, administering questionnaires, drafting applications and reports, data curation, performing data analyses, and other administrative duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to clinical research will be provided. Travelling between different hospitals (including Queen Mary Hospital, Duchess of Kent Children's Hospital at Sandy Bay, Hong Kong Children's Hospital, The University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital, and other hospitals) and irregular working hours are required.
