Part-time Research Assistants (hourly-paid) for Professor Cora Chan (HKU Law Faculty)

 

Professor Cora Chan at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), who specializes in constitutional law, is now recruiting part-time Research Assistants to work on a research project funded by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council, entitled ‘Liberal Regions in Illiberal States’. A competitive salary will be offered on the HKU rates according to the qualifications of the applicant. Research work will be mainly desktop research in relation to case studies of liberal regions in illiberal states in history and in contemporary times.

 

The project is one that lies at the intersection of constitutional law, history, and political science. Applicants must have a degree in law, history, or political science. Applicants who are pursuing or who have a PhD in these or related areas are preferred. Fluency in English, AND fluency in Spanish and/or German, are prerequisites for the role.

 

The total number of hours on the contract can be negotiated.
