Administrative Assistant II/ Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manger/ Assistant Manager) (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 531734) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years’ supervisory work experience, preferably in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to work independently with initiative; and computer literacy.  They should be a good team player, able to multi-task, and attentive to details.  Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer.

The appointees will play a versatile role in leading junior executive and clerical staff to support the School’s administration in one or more of the following areas: (a) human resources; (b) finance; (c) general administration; (d) social media and external relation; (e) teaching and learning; and (f) research affairs.  Working outside office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
