Manager, Marketing for MBA Programmes (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref: 531842) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years’ work experience, preferably in the field of marketing or in the tertiary education sector. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English; good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; and IT proficiency. They should also be good team players and outcome-driven professionals with the ability to plan, implement, and execute marketing strategies for the MBA programmes. In addition, they should have great self-motivation and attention to details; a sense of urgency; an outgoing personality; and the ability to work independently.
The appointee will support the Marketing and Admissions of MBA programmes with diversified duties, such as marketing content development for social media channels, digital campaign execution, advertising and marketing collateral preparation, as well as website updates and database management. The appointee will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, increase web and social media traffic, and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels, including SEO, PPC, social media (English and Chinese), email marketing, and content marketing;
• Analyze and report on performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions;
• Manage and optimize the company website and ensure it is user-friendly and optimized for search engines;
• Create engaging content that aligns with target audience needs and business objectives;
• Oversee the planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns, including budget management and performance tracking; and
• Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners, including agencies and media outlets.
The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus and may be required to work outside normal office hours, during weekends and traveling outside Hong Kong. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
