Executive Officer in the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533599) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated candidate to assist our marketing initiatives.  The appointee will be responsible for driving the overall branding and visibility of the School/ Department through innovative campaigns and outreach efforts.  He/she is expected to develop and execute marketing and promotion strategies for taught postgraduate programmes and knowledge exchange initiatives; create compelling content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and publications; organise and coordinate events such as seminars, conferences, and community outreach activities; liaise with external vendors for multimedia production, advertising, and event logistics, and explore and adopt emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.  He/she may also support other portfolios of the team, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

 

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A recognized university degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in academic or healthcare settings;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering impactful results;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently and collaborate as a team player;
  • Proficiency in IT and digital tools, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, website content management systems, database management, major social media platforms and digital content creation tools; and
  • Interest in learning and applying the latest AI tools and SEO/GEO best practices in marketing and outreach.
