Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Haematology, Medical Oncology and Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT), Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533842)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical studies and trials in compliance with protocols
  • Manage and analyze large clinical biobank datasets
  • Conduct literature review
  • Prepare grant proposals and reports
  • Supervise junior research staff
  • Be exposed to ample opportunities in developing an academic career
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics or related disciplines, preferably with at least 1 year's post-qualification experience
  • Strong Biomedical Science and quantitative background
  • Knowledge in statistics analysis, preferably related to medical field
  • Strong data visualization skills
  • Expertise in the analysis of large and complex datasets
  • Self-motivated, scientifically mature, attentive to details
  • Able to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • An excellent command of written and spoke English and Chinese
  • Experience in managing research projects would be highly desirable

 

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
