Research Assistant I/II in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 534369)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature review, data analysis, preparation of presentations, and reports
  • Conduct individual interviews with participants
  • Provide field work support on data collection and data quality checking
  • Deliver system training & follow up
  • Assist in the logistics arrangement of the project(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Social Work, Psychology and Public Health or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, Self-motivated, able to work independently and multi-tasking, work under tight schedule as well as in a team
  • Knowledge on mental health, quantitative or qualitative skills is highly desirable.

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
