Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant I/II of JCBeCARE 2.0 -- Compassionate Support Programme for Bereaved Families in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:534509). The appointee will commence as soon as possible for one year.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; a strong sense of responsibility; and good interpersonal skill. They should also be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work in a team.

The appointees will assist the Project Director and Associate Project Director in implementing training programmes, managing the website, and be responsible for literature review, data collection and analysis of the evaluative studies, liaison with local research collaborators, preparation of meetings, drafting reports, and other duties as assigned. Working irregular hours and/or on weekends may be required occasionally. Those with more research experience and/or stronger academic background may be considered as Research Assistant I. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test.

A highly competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be offered. The appointment carries annual leave, medical benefits, and a University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme.
