Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant II in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 534553) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree, with at least 5 years' relevant hands-on experience at supervisory level in the tertiary education sector. An excellent command of English and Chinese, a high level of communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.  Applicants should be a motivating team leader, good team player, attentive to details, self-motivated, able to multitask, able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

The appointee will provide and manage administrative activities of the Department, and will play a versatile role in leading junior to mid-career executive and clerical staff in a wide spectrum of administrative work related to teaching and learning, research, and human capital management.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and written test.
