Administrative Assistant II/ Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manger/ Assistant Manager) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 534559) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years’ supervisory work experience, preferably in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to work independently with initiative, as well as in a team; and computer literacy.  They should be attentive to details with a good sense of tact in handling sensitive and confidential information, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.  Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer.

The appointee will play a key role in leading junior executive and clerical staff to provide comprehensive administrative support to the School in the areas of human resources and general administration; ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures of the University; liaising with internal stakeholders, including the faculty office and administrative offices, to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication; maintaining accurate records and documentation to support relevant operations; and performing other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and written test.
