Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:534580) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a M.Sc. with at least one year of post-qualification experience, or a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Material Science, Microelectronics, or other relevant disciplines. The candidates shall have strong background in the field of organic optoelectronics and/or OLED device fabrication. They should have good publication track record and demonstrated expertise in research field. They should be responsible and able to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external parties, including academics and industry partners. They should also have good analytical skills, and a good command of English and Chinese. The appointee will work on a research project led by Professor C. M. Che, focusing on the commercialization of R&D outcomes, with support from government, industry, and academia.
The appointee will be responsible for fabricating OLED device using proprietary OLED materials and optimization of device structures.
