Part-time Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:534604), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, Social Sciences, Statistics or related disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates with prior research experience, particularly in areas related to mindfulness, emotional distress, and/or bereavement.
The ideal candidate should have: 1) A good command of written and spoken English and Putonghua; 2) A passion for conducting research and experience in quantitative data analysis (e.g., SPSS, R, or similar statistical software); 3) Familiarity with research methodology and academic writing; 4) The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in implementing research projects on mindfulness and bereavement care. Responsibilities include data collection and management, statistical analysis, preparation of presentations and research materials, drafting proposals and reports, and performing other research-related duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
